Sunday 29th November 2009 - Wilscroft attended
the Hampton Court Wedding Fayre.
March 2009 - We again invited the children of Kimbolton Primary School to write
a poem about "if their mum was a flower, what flower would she be".
All the poems were displayed in our shop window in the run-up
to Mothers Day and 4 lucky winners from each of the lower class years came to the shop to make a basket of flowers for each
of their lucky mum's!
Well
done to all the children for your hard work and imagination and thank you again to the teachers and staff at Kimbolton
Primary School!
October 2008 was Breast Cancer Awareness
Month. Wilscroft raised £183.83p for this charity and would like to thank everybody that supported us and helped to
raise this amount.

Wilscroft Florist invited the lower class years
at St James' C of E Primary School Kimbolton to draw or paint a picture of their Mum in early February 2008.
With an entry of over 90 pictures to choose from, we
finally decided on a winner from each class year (1-4) to come to the shop on Friday 22nd February to make a present
for their Mum's for Mother's Day.
We put all of the entries into our shop window, which created a huge amount of interest.....trying to
guess the Mum's who were stood outside was the best bit!!!
We were blown away by the standard that was painted and apart from the 4 winners, we
gave a 2nd & 3rd highly commended certificate to each of the class winners as well.
We invited BBC Hereford & Worcester to come along
and they did a live link on Katie's lunchtime show and also the Leominster Journal & Hereford Times recorded the event
in each of the papers, with lovely photo's to match!
A big 'well done' to our winners, Ben Hackney, Daisy Wilson, Reuben Shepherd & Betty Read
who all created & made a lovely basket each out of fresh flowers and were a fantastic credit to themselves
and the school.
Some
pictures are shown below of our lucky winners.
